Things Left Unsaid

So many things left unsaid
So many thoughts rolling around in my head

My heart is hurting for a friend
who may think I do not want to make amends

I assure you, quite the opposite is true
But how can I get my message through?

Let’s dispense with this animosity
and make things right between you and me

Please, listen to me, listen to my heart…
and let’s find a way to make a new start.
